I have used maybellines gel eyeliner in the past and loved it when I was using it but found it took an extra amount of care and time than a usual liquid liner would. So for the past few months I have been swapping between my Kiko ultimate liner pen and Soap and Glorys super cat eyeliner, two products that are up there with my all time faves.
When I first tried this product at home I was abit baffled of how it worked. I would turn the bottem of the pen until some product came out the top, but then when I put it to my lid, it would not stay on and found it very difficult to create a perfect line this way. I ended up having to put the gel liner product onto the back of my hand and take a little amoung at a time on the tip of the pen to apply evenly and nicely. The top of the applicater is also a rubber material and fits super well into your lashline. Once using the product a few times I found that it became abit of a faff to apply unless you had a good amount of time to make sure it was even and to make sure that I could get rid of any mistakes. However I really love the final look you can create and just makes your eyeliner look so much nicer and bolder when applied perfectly. This product is also super waterproof and wont budge! I even used it around the pool and came back to the hotel still intact! I would recommend this product for those who are use to applying eyeliner and is great for when you can spend time applying your makeup, however if you arnt use to applying eyeliner or you are a beginner, then I think sticking with a liquid eyeliner pen such as soap and glorys supercat is the best option for now!
