Rock On Ruby Tee's

After seeing so many different people post photos on instagram of their very own Rock On Ruby tops, I for sure had to have a little nosey at what they were all about. Whilst searching through their instagram tag and instagram account, I fell in love with all the quirky quotes printed onto different style tops. It was then after clicking on their website that I found there was a selection of different categories of tops printed with funny and unusual quotes (particularly loving the mean girls section...). I pondered over the idea of getting a personalised one or just ordering a already quoted tee by one of the fashion bloggers but couldn't decide whether or not to make a purchase. After being persuaded once again by the many instagram accounts (and a sneaky tweet from rock on ruby themselves ;) ), it then took me a good few days to pick the perfect one. In the end, after searching the internet, Pinterest and Google images for a quote to get printed, I settled with this one, which is so appropriate to my life as I NEVER leave the house without my trusty liquid liner. I got mine in a white tee but there are so many other styles of tops including little crops. I would so recommend this brand to anyone looking for a personalised top or just to have a look at the ones already made up as I love every quote so much. They are also very reasonably priced and comes with free shipping in the UK (WAHEY), also after having trouble picking a size I found emailing the girls themselves helped and they were so lovely and decided on getting a size medium as I wanted it loose but not overly huge like I have ordered before. I will leave a couple of photos to show off my fabulous tee...

A Sunny Day in Southport

After finally making some plans for summer, taking a visit to Southport was one of them. I mean, Southport isn't the must see, must go to type of place but it was somewhere closeish to were we live that we had never really visited.

We took the train to liverpool limestreet and then grabbed some snacks from marks and spencer (the best for packed sandwiches) for the 45 minute train journey ahead. Walking to central we could already feel the sun getting hotter which we couldnt complain about really but you know, forever complaining about heat...
After getting on the train at Liverpool central, we ate our snacks and shortly arrived at Southport. I had been looking forward to mostly buying a pink and white ice cream and hiring a little boat haha, easily pleased ey!
The first thing we did was head to the pier and there were the boats! After paying £2.50 each we got in our little boat with me and megan in the front (meg 'driving') and amy and jess in the back. Considering you could only go in a certain area which wasnt the biggest to explore, it was alot of fun haha!
After nearly going over the 20 minute limit and megan nearly crashing us into a wooden post, we survived the boat ride...

We then decided to just have wander around the fair and walked along the pier. As we only had a few hours there we decided to get our icecream before heading back to the train station.
All was going well until it happened. The type of thing you see on tv shows or cartoons. I was obliviously trying to get money out of the cash machine until my friends saw. I had been wearing a two piece outfit handmade by a girl on instagram (not mentioning the shop she has) when the shorts of the outfit had ripped up the seam. They had ripped. I was flashing my underwear. I was mortified. I was about to run to primark to buy some cheap shorts when I was persuaded that we were heading back to the train 15 minutes later and that you couldnt see it when I was walking and my back pack covered it. I had never worn this outfit before and couldn't believe the first time I had worn it, it had ripped. *Que an angry email demanding a refund*

Despite the whole situation, the day was really lovely and was nice to go somewere different! I will leave a few photos from this day below...

Clothes Wishlist July

The amount of hours I must spend searching different clothes websites just to lust over many clothes, bags, shoes... You name it. Instagram plays a huge part in this especially and all the fashion bloggers I follow on there making me want to spend all my pennies on clothes. I thought I would make a little wishlist of a few items I really love at the moment and may make some great, if not a little naughty, purchases in the next few weeks:)

Such a practical top that will go with everything! I would wear with either joni jeans or tucked into a skirt:) also comes in other colours.

The struggles of having to decide between which pair of jeans... or maybe both...
I have been meaning to buy another pair of the topshop joni jeans as they are my favourite and probably only jeans I wear as they are nice and stretchy and super comfy.

Falling in love with Rock on Ruby. After finding this brand on instagram and seeing many fashion bloggers wear their tees, I have been dreaming about one of these tshirts for a little while and I think I have finally come to point of wanting to make that order, its just... which one?! You can personalise your on tshirt or buy one thats already been sloganed and they also do free delivery which is always a winner! Excited to decide on which tshirt to get or even if i can think of a cool enough slogan to get printed ;) I have also already got two of my friends thinking about making a purchase so we can all turn up to V festival in style!

One of their crop tees designed by blogger 'The Pixie Cut'

After seeing so many people wearing these on holiday, im so sad I never bought one for Ibiza!! Definately thinking about buying one for my holiday in October as I am so in love with all the patterns on missguided and love the backless style of the bodysuit.

I love how this dress would look so pretty with a pair of tan sandles and backpack in summer, but can also be worn into autumn/winter with a pair of tights and ankle boots.

Cute little black shoes that can be so practical and be worn with anything. Also can be worn into autumn/winter:)

Ibiza Vibes

Standing by the starbucks counter in Manchester airport, I actually realised the holiday we booked nearly a year ago had finally come round. All the planning and holiday chats had finally come to an end and we were 2 hours from boarding the plane. Spending a week in Ibiza with three of my bestfriends for our first girls holiday was an experience and a half. I mean dont get me wrong, it was one of the best times I've ever had but I have never been so glad to sleep in my own bed when coming home! Ibiza is such a beautiful place and is still super lively but less of the crazy party strips resorts in Magaluf and Zante are known for. Whilst there we also got the chance to go to one of the main clubs, Ushuaia to watch David Guetta which was such an amazing/ experience, especially with the planes flying so low over the top of you (and the 19€ I paid for one drink... Yup I know). Also I really recommend a trip to the Ocean Beach  hotel for a day of luxury! Entry tickets are so reasonable and its such a classy place and one of my favourites:) My brother and sister in law were lucky enough to stay in the Ibiza Rocks Hotel last year and even got to watch Ed Sheeran from their balcony and said that we had to visit there if we were able to as the hotel is such a cool place... so when we were offered tickets for around 40€ to watch the DJ's Gorgon City aswell as a few backup acts, we just couldnt say no! Whilst we were there we pretty much envied everyone who was dancing on the balconys in their own little private viewing place whilst we were squished amongst the crowd. It was such a fun concert and place to be with such a cool atomosphere, and apart from my feet hurting towards the end, it was so worth going. Ibiza is definitely cocktails galore! Strawberry daiquiris were basically my life...  yummy! So yeah I really recommend Ibiza to those going on a girls holiday and those who still want somewhere lively but not to teen crazy (We admit, we had more than one 'early' night). We stayed in San Antonio Bay and walked/ got the 10 minute water boat over the sea to San Antonio which is the best option in my opinion, also taking a bus trip to Ibiza town to do a spot of shopping can also be a bonus! On our last night we also went to the ever so famous cafe mambo/ cafe del mar to watch the sunset which was so pretty and such an instagram moment... This is something else I would also recommend doing on at least one of the nights if you ever visit Ibiza, just make sure you make it in time for the sunset ;). Cannot wait to be making another return to the beautiful bay of San Antonio and have left a few holiday snaps below:) (iphone quality because my camera broke meh)
